I dont blame whoever called for calling. Even though they might be delayed that could still be parents. But someone should be watching out for the baby.

What I dont get is why they waited to check out the house until she was in labor. That isnt something that could have been done before that?

i'm thinking something SHOULD have been done, but it seems it didn't occur to anyone except the delivering hospital to actually make the call.

I didn't think they could do anything before hand.

This story was posted before , under a different name. I'd rather not say the other name because I never inteded to keep it and had it deleted. It had too much personal info linked to the name so please don't post it if you know.

This was the most recent event from the story. The mother of the girl had guardianship, social services was involved, a gal was involved, the mother had a lawyer. It was a big mess . No one seemed to be doing anything but the mother of the girl that was pregnant. Because the family did so much and kept taking off with the girl the mother finally had the state appoint a public adminstrator to watch over her. She is still with the boyfriends family who took off with her.

No one called until she went into labor. I had no clue it could have been called in before. The family had done everything they thought they could do . no one was helping so they were very much relieved when they head they were called in while she was in labor.

Honestly, I was wondering if that is who you were talking about. So, Mom and Baby are physically OK?

Glad someone is watching over her.

I remember this too, I am glad to hear that someone stepped in. Didn't Mom, when she was guardian to new Mom, take her to her OB appts? I mean before BF's family started "stealing" her and she had the State take over? Maybe the Dr was aware enough of the family dynamics that he felt that monitoring would be best. Acting as a Guardian Angel, if you would.

Guess it doesn't really matter, it worked out for the best. Someone was looking out for them. Is Mom & Baby doing o.k?

The only update I've had is yes the baby is fine. Mom had to leave the hospital the family made it impossible for her to be up there.

She ended up having a c section. The next day somehow she opened up again and they had to go in again. She went home today . This is from other people that we got this info. She has not contacted her mom or anyone else. A cousin went to the hospital to check on her yesterday because no one had heard from her.

They are spreading lies on the internet about how our family wants a baby and cant' have any how it was all about taking her money and making her babysit etc etc etc. . And they are saying lots of stuff about her mother. It seems like no end.

Her mom was taking her to all appointments and everything until they took off with her again.

From her mom's understanding also they will have to do psych evaluations. I can't see how either of them would be able to pass that.

If a call was made to CPS? That makes no sense.

Further, according to OP, the MOTHER is in (to quote OP...and I do NOT know if she means actual state guardianship) care/control of CPS.

Yes it makes perfect sense. Police cannot enter your home without a warrant (court order) unless they are invited. Even if they receive a call. CPS is the same thing. If mom is in the CUSTODY of CPS that is a different situation but that implies that mom is a minor or extremely close to a minor.

CPS does NOT have as many rights as many people believe. If they show up you can say NO. You do not have to cooperate with CPS ever. For them to enter your home without your permission they need a court order.

Maryjo, the parents can watch out for the parent. They don't need second guessed just because they might be delayed. And CPS had no right to go to the home of these individuals. What may have happened is they tried before hand and mom/dad said no they couldn't come in. So they waited until someone else was there to let them in. I have seen that happen.

Okay so that addsa LOT MORE to the story. Now that I know who you somewhat sorta might be.
