take the best, leave the rest

turbowray,
I have no idea what happened in your situation but I liked your comment. Thanks for your honesty. I have never been involved with courts and attorneys, litigation, rules and motions, etc. until recently. My husband developed physical limitations due to a neurological condition. I was concerned about his mental status meanwhile he files for a divorce.

I thought we were separating. Then I am served with summons, complaint and restraining papers. I was assisting in his care after we separated. Meanwhile, his attorney is filing motions and affidavits representing me as stealing money from his business account. It's a joint account and my name was on it.

I was angry and very defensive. I came across that way to everyone. That cost me a lot of money. I did not come across with facts. I could not listen. I was writing letters an emails without reading them before I sent them. Everytime my attorney or someone from his office said something I would blow up. You get the picture?

When I first heard about this website I started to learn because I was reading other posts. I asked a few questions. And I saw myself in the defensive responses from persons posting their problem. My attorney would say something like "date you left residence". I'd snap back "I didn't leave!! We agreed on selling..." Bottom line I did not get it until I started reading here.

When I asked questions, I got answers and ideas. I also received several PM's and I followed the advice. It was here I learned how what and when to ask questions. And where to look to find answers to some of those questions myself.

It is so important to check spelling and grammer. It makes such a difference in the way we are perceived. My anger did nothing more than reinforce the negative things said about me. If I tried to bully legal professionals it backfired. I learned that here.

I've read many posts. Last night I read this from IAAL in 2000. He really tried to get that point across to OP. Can you see how stubborn she is? I thought IAAL was more patient than I would have been. I wanted you to read the paragraph where he eXplains how is trying to help.;)

Thank you butterscotch! I am reading alot of old posts, and I truely wonder what happened to IAAL to make him change the way he did. I am going to try to keep the old image of IAAL in my head now, and not the image I had in a bad month he had. I have been informed of a great program that fixes typos as you do it, so I think I'll check it out! You are right about one thing, my mom always said, "the moment you go into a fight angry, is the moment you lost it allready". Wise words that I never even knew would come into play here and now lol! I am glad you stopped to listen. I will try to keep helping people here, and learn as much as I can as I go along. To anyone here that posts legal advice to help people, we do appreciate it alot!!:)

They have been deleted but he did provide information, and on another site I saw him take a sign on name and bring up his full name and very very private information in reguards to an online insurance form/questionnare he filled out. Some one from this site had to refrain IAAL with his/her kind and worried replies to the messages sent by IAAL.

But how do you know it was true? It was not about you was it? He could of had false information wanting other members to think it was real. If it was true information that would leave it up to both parties. And I can understand if it was about you, you will be upset. So why did you get upset? Are you a juvi?
I noticed a lot of good messages he left that are still listed.

As explained it was a troll on the other site and I also pulled up the information, none of it was confidential, it was all public record. Turbowray now understands this and the reason it was posted.

Get a frikkin' life. It matters not if the information was true. What matters in this instance is if the information caused harm, which it did not. hurt feelings are not legally compensible.

Now this thread needs to die a fast death. It serves no purpose.

I already had a life but already died a fast death. :) Now putting 2 and 2 2gether. It did cause harm. That is why there is a law suit. Don't you get it. You are making it look more serious than I thought it was. Tell me some more about it.

It didn't cause harm, it wasn't related to either turbowray or the lawsuit.
Why are you making something out of noting after it was already explained. It wasn't turbo's info for goodness sake.

Not crazy here! I stated facts and facts only, and some of those who read the deleted posts ABOUT ME made me understand some things. Maybe you were referring to the man/woman who has lived twice lol,but my feelings were very founded and I make no apologies. IAAL has apologized and said I have nothing to fear and that is all I needed to hear, end of story!

Sure it did belizebreeze,I thought since my post was used against IAAL in court,he would be angry at me,and retaliate, but since I have posted this thread,he has apologized, and said that he understands that I don't have control over the posts that belong to this site. So yes, it did serve a purpose, and now i can move on. Yes though, you are right, since I have gotten this information that I needed to calm my fears, this thread needs to die. Have a great one and I hope to learn alot from you in the future BelizeBreeze!

IAAL apologized to you? I assume this was in private mail?
