As I said, there is no reason to believe anything you say. ;)

And who you are, and what you do, is not nearly as important on this forum as what you post.

There is no "initiation" on this forum. When you provide information for a poster, however, you need to provide accurate information and you should be able to provide support for it when asked.

If you consistently post accurate and/or pertinent information, you will be welcomed. If you consistently post incorrect information, the information will be corrected and you will not be as welcome. We are not here to confuse the visitors with misinformation.

Quincy in Her defense. she was peaking about strokes, she said a stroke could be induced by stress. This is the same information given to me by several DOCTORS i visited. Now I am not aware if the other people saying that it couldn't have the credentials my doctors do, but, my doctors have licenses to practice medicine. She merely said the same as they did.

The other posters SEEMED to only want to discredit, or attack me not help. Maybe its because you cant tell people emotions here, or intonations, but it seemed as no one wanted to help, just attack.

Wether they are seasoned users on the forum is irrelevant, A seasoned user could be just as full of crap as a novice, wouldn't you agree?

I came here for help, I haven't received much help, however I have been castigated, and ridiculed a lot.

Maybe the SEASONED contributors should reexamine their motives, and ask this question, WHY AM I HERE?

You have already been given correct advice more than once:

GO HIRE LOCAL COUNSEL. YOU ARE NOT CAPABLE OF DOING THIS YOURSELF.

That said - bravo. This was a masterful troll job.

Ok update after meeting, the opposing attorney tried to have the trial. My request was in writing so the Judge abided by my request and we have a pretrial conference. I recieved the Executrix deed and my sister signed over the quit claim deed. The opposing attorney tried again to get me to sign a document releasing my niece from mishandling my mother estate again. I refused, and said I would drop the claim against the estate if they gave me the accounting I asked for, the deeds, and my property back. I refused to sign a release forgiving my niece of wrong doing, nor promicing to not sue her. He admitted my family had some of my property, but they also did not know where some of it went.

The judge told him the other cases were not in his court, and that dropping my claim against the estate sounded as though I was willing to compromise. The opposing attorney said he was as happy as he could be under the circumstances, and turned the deeds over to the court, I gave the judge a written document stating I was dropping the claim against the estate if everything was done as we had spoke.

The opposing attorney said I shouldnt have filed the case against my niece in magistrate court, I said ok, why didnt she do the right thing?

Why havent they giiven my property back to me, or to you so i can pick it up?

He said If I knew that Id be a millionare. He said he would talk to me in magistrate court next concerning my case there and I told him not only that but you will have to defend her against a criminal case for burglery, Ill see you at both.

So now I have to ask what will they do, file a counter claim in small claims for whaT?

I told him I would release my sister cases because she had signed the quit claim deed. He said ok, here we are, so whats next, what other dirty tricks can they try?

You need an attorney.

Not a message board.

Signed,

Lay person who worked in the pharma./healthcare industry for years and actually knows what she's talking about in terms of stroke ;)

Unfortunately that question is so open-ended it's difficult to list every possibility.

Ok, maybe a few hypothises?

Counter claim for attorney's fees?

Is there anything else stupid they could do against the house?

Maybe a lien of some kind?

Or is it really done, am I finished with that nightmare?

Quincy, I am a mature woman with lot 's of experience- I am a licensed medical professional; I was executor of my parent's estate and criticized by my two siblings who did not understand Probate or the details involved liquidating investments, put in my name as executor and transferred to beneficiaries per Trust; a baby boomer who has experienced brokers who move money around to obtain a fee and now working with a financial adviser who specializes in helping woman. I purchased an historic home and as home owner had a terrible experience with a general contractor who did the first phase of renovation. I own rental property and am very aware of leases, co-tenants and roommates who want to move in, share expenses but not be included on a lease. I don't rent cheap property. I volunteer in my community and sit on boards developing a senior services center in our community.
I joined the forum to help persons who are having difficulty with issues I have personally experienced. I was not aware there was an initiation after joining this forum. I am not used to having someone following me and make statements that my experience is wrong. My comments are intended for the OP. I thank you for you advice. :)
What type of "licensed medical professional" are you?

Why do so many people attempt to hijack my thread away from the main points? Do you all always do this and help no one?

Nope.

But we will correct erroneous information when we see it.

(And believe me, this thread has more than its fair share of that)

You need to get it through your head that this forum cannot help you. You need a lawyer. This board is not a substitute for actual legal counsel.

Well unless people like me, disabled Vets BARELY making it through life, and feeding their families can get a lawyer to work pro bono, which none want to ever do. We have to look at any avenues of help we can get MAYBE you all could TRY TO HELP?

Here's the problem. We cannot offer "legal advice" per se. We can give general information and perhaps what to expect - but that's honestly about as far as we can take it. If the situation is complex, advising you to find an attorney is really the only advice we can give.

There are other avenues; if there's a law school close you may be able to get help there (students may advise under the supervision of attorneys). Legal aid generally can't deal with complex issues and most have a relatively narrow list of the types of cases they can deal with. There may be charitable organizations who can help out, too.
