My exgirlfriend of 6 years no longer wants to keep her 15 year lod daughter. She has asked me if I would be willing to take her. What legal steps do I need to take to be able to care for her. Are there any leagle forms I will need her mother to sign?

yes for starters, where's the father? I believe its common knowledge the father has rights too. Maybe must ask the father if he's willing togive up the daughter before proceeding. If so, then must start adoption proceedings or whatever the family law states in your area.
