My sister is living with our mentally abusive mother. DHS is already on her, but we don't want to go through with anything because she doesn't want to live with her dad. Her dad doesn't want anything to do with her, but he will fight just for the fight. She is ten and already on antidepressants. She is always sad and says she doesnt want to live. I am 21. I hope to take care of her one day, but will that be possible before she is 18?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

It appears from your post that DHS is involved. They will make the decision as to what is best for your sister.
