I've got to do something about the muscles in my jaw.

I'm getting real tired of "skid marks" on my chin when it drops to the ground - - it's getting difficult to walk !

Remember that cartoon Wolf in bib overalls? You know, the one with one strap holding up the bib, and the eyes bulging about a foot out, with the ah-ooga horn, and wolf whistling ? That's me.

Anybody care to go skydiving with me ? With parachutes like those, it should be an "easy" landing.

Okay boys and girls:

Here's the latest from Mary, April 9, 2001, concerning our complaints that the Boards are slow to nonfunctional:

"The situation: we have moved the "do-it-yourself" data from WebEx to Verio this last week. However, we have not completely cut the connection to WebEx, but plan to do so within the next few days. Then, or simultaneously, we will
take the freeadvice.com site and divide the data and webpages between two servers, obviously freeing more processing. With fingers crossed, that should speed up the site by the end of the week. (Seeing is believing, of
course.)

I will let you know of the progress, though I will be out of the office this coming Friday afternoon and Monday morning.

I will keep you posted if Mary has further information. And, Mary, all of us have our fingers crossed too !

Yeah, I recall the same thing from a year ago. Funny though. Other sites are super fast, and popular like FreeAdvice.Com (Microsoft as one example), yet we appear to be the only "turtle" in the world.

I was telling her that this situation can't possibly be making the advertisers very happy, not to mention the writers to the boards.

Don't hold those "man-breasts" too tight, HG.

It's a crying shame because lately we're spending some of our valuable time sending email to Mary et.al. rather than helping the readers by responding to their posts.

I can think of 50 other things I could be doing instead of sending redundant email about the glitches with this website forum.

Maybe I should defect and hang out at the doityourself bbs forum. Then again maybe that forum is a turtle also.
