I inferred that was "behind a semi truck". Otherwise she was driving a car hauler and unsafely tailgating as one truck could never stop on bad road with that short of a reaction interval.

In general, OP's really need to be more careful and proofread their posts, especially when describing scenarios.

came from the top of his car….and the tow truck driver told her that if she was going faster then window shield glass could have came back and cut her.

too bad any damage was made but keeping the distance does help a lot in preventing tings like that happen :( but then again luckily your mother did not drive any faster, so i guess your insurance will not cover the damage?
