they sent the documents through the mail (not certified) to my old address on October 10th, 2005. I moved out of the house they mailed documents to in June of 2003. If in 2003, sum**** judgement was denied to them, was I required to give the court a change of address?

At this point, consult an attorney and have him/her look over your case. Have all the documents ready and be ready to explain EVERYTHING to him.
