I do not understand the question.. do you mean people who have illegally entered the US and working on a farm.. are there any laws to allow them to stay in the US because they have worked on a farm ?

Thank you for responding. I'll provide a little background to help clarify my question. In 1985, '86, and'87, INS gave amnesty to illegal immigrants who were employed as agricultural workers, and who met specified regulations.

Presently, there has been a call for another amnesty, both by farmers, who need the undocumented workers because they are willing and able to work for wages and under conditions not acceptable to American workers , and by the undocumented workers whose foreign economies do not support an acceptable standard of living.

There have been a variety of politicians who are supporting the farming industry, in particular, but not limited to, the mushroom industry in Kennett Square, PA. Rep. Joseph Pitts of PA is one who has been pushing legislation.

There has been talk among the farmworkers that an amnesty bill is close to passing, but I have been unable to obtain
any information. So, if there is any information out there, I am hoping you can pass it along. Thanks. Gracias.

Sorry I can not be any help.. I struggle to keep up with current issues never mind things down the line.. If you find anything, let me know as I would be interested to.
