What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? FL

Hello, in the past 2 days I received a ticket from a state trooper he stated that I cut him off when in fact I was a good 2 cars distance and had my turning signal on. But on the ticket it states improper-change-of-lane/ pulling out in front of a vehicle going the same direction and then stated that the real reason for the ticket was that I crossed a SOLID(not double) white line which he states is illegal today I searched it up and it stated in Florida it is not prohibited to do so I'm wondering was the ticket he gave me invalid(I'm still going to go to court to fight it)?

Turning your turn signal on doesn't give you any special authority to pull in front of others.
He was no where close to me I would understand if he was just a few mere inches away but the length of 2 full cars is a long distance so how is that cutting him off?

You sound innocent to me. I would plead not guilty and make your case in front of a judge. Good chance charges will be dropped or reduced if you show you plan to fight it. But be polite (but confident) to the judge, prosecutor and/or officer. Remember you are innocent until proven guilty.

these police officers have power trip regardless of 2 car lanes or 20 if you go in front of them they will pull you over and give you a BS ticket. if your driving history is good, you may be able to speak with the DA to catch a break
