What is the name of your state? Ohio

I'm writing this on behalf of my fathers girlsfriend "Angie." The thing is Angie is her mothers only child. Recently her mother has been ruled incompitent and the court would only allow Angie temporary custody but probate court has full custody. Angie is trying to get full custody of her mother, she has a place lined up to send her mother to get her help (they believe one of the reasons her mom is incompitent is because of the multiple amounts of pills she is on...prescribed by the doctors), but her Aunt (her moms sister) is i guess you would say "overriding" Angie. Is there no way Angie can get full custody of her mom so that she can get help? Angie's mom never liked her sister, in fact she down right hated her because she hates Angie. Now under her incompitent status, her sister is using her to get Angie evicted from her house. Under her right mind angies mother would never have done this. They believe her sister has something to do with making her mom do things while shes not in a compitent state of mind.

Can anyone possibly give me some help as to how angie can get full custody of her mom to get her the help she needs? As her mother's only child, does she not have more right to custody and control of her incompitent mother than her aunt does?

Thanks for any help that you can give

Why was Angie not appointed guardian of her mother at the end of the temporary order? Aunt, as guardian of the estate, does have the legal authority to evict Angie.

I am not sure, Angie is wondering why she does not get full power of attorney and all of this over her mom(being her moms daughter), rather than her moms sister getting it.

Not everyone is eligible to be a guardian/conservator as the court does background checks. If Angie was at the court hearing, she would know why she was not appointed.
