I was issued a speeding ticket in New Jersey. The officer who wrote the ticket wrote my drivers license number incorrectly, mispelled my last name, and left the vin# totally blank. Can I out of the summons on some technicality because of these errors or omissions ?

Probably not -- you can use the errors he made to crtoss-examine him and then suggest he may have made a lot of other errors too.
