I received a speeding ticket and the State Trooper was located physically behind the speed limit sign where the speed zone changed. I was in a 65 mph zone. He clearly recorded my speed a few hundred yards before the lower (55 mph) zone and cited me for 82 mph in a 55 mph. Is this grounds for a dismissal in court or will the State amend the summons?
