I live in the state of Georgia and am being contacted by a person that I knew long ago and recently have been in contact with again although I am married. She continues to contact me and call my home and harass me and my family even though I have told her I want no further contact with her. She also feels that I owe her money that I loaned her then later she paid back. Now she wants that money back. How can I stop this activity?

What is the date of the loan, and who owes what to who ?


You have a few choices concerning the calls or other contacts:

1. Get a call-blocking device.

2. Call the telephone company and report her.

3. Get a shrill whistle and when she calls, blow it into the receiver until she hangs up.

4. File for, and obtain, a court ordered restraining order against her.

5. Report her to your local District Attorney's Office for "stalking" you.

I have a similar problems with my own stalker he too had been harrassing and calling me except he is in another state doing all that plus with a threats to file a motion for a court order to have my son's body to be exhumed for DNA paternity tests on that ( my son was born and died in okla 7 yrs ago).I will have a restraining/order or protection order hearing on monday.

what IAAL said is correct, however, not necessary in that order, I would suggest you start with obtaining the restraining order, and before you do that, make sure you have all evidence that she had been harrassing you i.e. if she wrote you a letter constantly, save them, if you have answer machine, and the message was left save that also for the court.this would show the cause for needing to have restraining order.I think this would help you get ex parte temporary restraining order if you can show to judge that you fear for your life and need this in place instead of waiting untill the hearing to obtain the permenant order.
