What is the name of your state?Tn.In May of this year I dropped my 8 year old son off at a classmates birthday party, inside, with the mother and aunt of the classmate at 5pm.Both of these women are nurses. At 5:30 I recieved a call that he had been injured. He was life flighted because they allowed the eight year old to drive him on an adult size ATV at speeds in excess of 30 miles per hour, he was ejected recieving a head injury, stitches to his face etc..He appears to be alright now and I feel very fortunate. The bill are around 30,000. My health insurance won't pay because they say these peoples home owners should pay, the home owners says they won't pay until health insurance pays. In the mean time we are about to be turned over to collections. We have always had excellent credit ratings as we are very responsible.Another note is that this child driving the atv previously broke his arm on it, and I found out later that he is dx ADHD and they refuse to medicate him.The machine is clearly marked under 16 should not be allowed.I am worried that if we sue to make them pay that the cost of the legal bills may be huge and we would still not get the medical costs paid. Please advise
