And you would be incorrect. Because OP doesn't know when the car was damaged, it could have been damaged while parked at the sister's. Therefore, it is reasonable that they have the sister's contact information to get her version.

I disagree. We don't know what information was requested. I asked the OP, but the OP hasn't returned to this thread. Without knowing what information was requested, it's impossible to assess intelligently the reasonableness of the OP's concern.
