my husband and I never gave her a card

Grrr are you not reading anything we post? I told you back on page one why it doesnt matter if you gave her the card. Because MEDICAID will have made sure the dr's office had the information. The court order states that the CP has right to file deduction for child so that is that. Your hubby paying for insurance and it being USED does not change that. This is HIS child and he needs to provide for child as such. Get over yourself you really are a piece of work. Try putting the child first in fact no just back out of the equation you are nothing to this situation so grow up and knock it off.

what im saying is ...the MOM never gave us the child doctor information..so how was she able to make a claim on my insururance????!!!!! we have nothing on the child...no doctor, info, no SS#...nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why did this claim come to us?????????????

Newsflash:

The ONLY way to add the child to the insurance is to have:
1. The child's name
2. The child's social security number
3. The child's birthdate.

If there are child support floating around, the chances of the child's social security number being available is quite great.

So, who's lying?

And to top it off, if OP and Dad itemize and have enough medical expenses (including what the employee pays for premiums), they get that deduction.

Mom won't get that deduction, but she get the child as a deduction (and all the other child-related credits).
