What is the name of your state? Alabama

I was convicted of DUI in the UK in January where the laws are much stricter (.02 is the limit I was .03). My Punishjment was a year ban and a $500 fine
I am currently residing in the US and need information regarding driving in the US.
Can I apply for a licence here?, is my licence valid here because laws are different?

We are now recognizing any and all forms of identification from Mexico.

I sagest you try there first.

You can get a license here. States have a system which checks other states for driving offenses that would impact your getting a license but not other countries. Unless the application specifficaly asks you about any past DWI convictions, it won't show up. Adopt the Clinton policy, "If they don't ask, Don't tell."
