in tennessee,
if an adult is living with their parents rent free with a dead bolt on the door usually kept locked at all times, can the parent install hidden cameras in the guys room without his knowledge, record his everyday life and make a tv show about it without consent?I read,
"Generally, it's perfectly legal to videotape or photograph any person and anything while on public property, except:

•You can't take pictures of areas that are usually considered private such as bedrooms, bathrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms, hotel rooms and so on"
(Photography or Video Taping Consent - Lawyers.com)
I also heard this would be equivilent to a landlord putting cameras in a tenants house (thing is, tenants pay rent)
But someone else told me parents can film and distribute video on their property as they wish. The tv show owuld be soley about this one individual.Truman show style. Is this legal?

It depends. Do you know whether they are using any government spy satellites to take photos as well? Or thermal imaging (through the walls)? Has there been any anal probing going on at any time?
