What is the name of your state? GA

Question 1: If I was involved in a slight accident and given an "incorrect" ticket. That is to say, the ticket was for 'following too close' - when the accident was both vehicles heading in same direction, point of contact: right side of one vehicle, left side of other vehicle. Is this a problem? Should the ticket info be corrected?

Question 2: Can I pay the fine and not go to court, even though a court date was issued? Must I go to court?

Question 3: Is GA an 'at fault' state? Will this (no matter the findings of court) cause my insurance premiums to increase?

Question 4: What should I plea?

The ticket can't be corrected and you need to prove you are not guilty of what you were cited for.

What does the ticket say your recourse is? Does it say you have to go to court? The back of the ticket should have instructions. Normally it's an choice of one or the other: go to court and fight it or pay the fine

I don't know, but it doesn't necessarily make a difference. Insurance premiums are set at the discretion of the insurance company and it's up to them to decide whether to increase your rates.

That's up to you. Do you want to fight the ticket or pay the fine?
