I was arrested for a DUI three years ago in Minnesota. It was a stupid mistake and I have not been in any kind of trouble since. My question is if it is possible to have the DUI expunged from my record. I am currently applying to medical school and if a background check is performed it might have a detremental effect on my application and possible admission. If it is not possible to have the offense totally expunged...is it possible to limit the viewing of it?
Thanks for any advice
Mark

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

It is excellent yet a bit ironic you are going into a profession that quite often treats victims of drunk driving.
