My friend is in love with her best friend. She knew that her friend would never love her back because shes not a lesbian so she made a new screen name and pretended to be a guy. Well she was been emailing her, talking to her on the phone (in a guys voice), and instant messaging her for almost 2 years now. She got her friend to believe she was this perfect goodlooking guy and she fell in love with him. So basically this girl fell in love with some guy she never met in person and has been dating him for a year and a half. Finally she figured out that it was her best friend pretending to be a guy. Is this a crime? Can she do anything to my friend legally? Can she be punished or sued? Anything will help. thanks
