Hey!

If you guys keep b!tch!ng about this place being FREE and discourteous, they're going to make it a PAY site... Then what are all of us who receive valuable info going to do??

You get what you pay for.

Nobody thinks beyond the now... lick your wounds and move on!

EXACTLY - you get what you pay for!

Supermom:

Just because it is FREE, does NOT give one the right to insult, make fun of, or be down right rude. Have you ever heard of common courtesy??

It also does not mean they have to be nice. You ask a question, you get an answer. Nowhere in the forum rules does it say all answers must be happy and upbeat, and they must be worded in such a way as to not hurt anyones precious feelings.

I enjoy viewing this forum and will continue to do so, but I also have the right to post my opinions. Afterall this is a FREE advice forum, is it not??

My point exactly. EVERYONE has the right to post their opinions, whether you like them or not!

Listen, be realistic - look back at your own posts even, and see how you contradict yourself, or don't give all the information, and then expect the ones who reply to read your mind, and then you are insulted when they don't. This happens all over this forum! No one had to answer your questions, but they did, and based on your posts the information you asked for was given to you. Once again, maybe not in the manner you would have preferred, but you got it all the same. If you all want a long and drawn out explanation for an answer then ask for it up front. Don't say, "Can I do this," and expect more than a yes or no. Try "Can I do this, and if not, why?" It'll work much better. Also give the COMPLETE information from the start! Then and only then will you get the answers you need.

And if I may jump in here for a minute, I do attempt to be polite (unless absolutely driven to it) and for the most part, I try to give complete answers with explanations. (Some questions simply BEG for a one-word answer.) But I frankly get tired of being abused because I don't give the answer that the poster wants to hear. *I* don't write the law. If I tell someone they don't have a case, it's because that's what the law says, not because I think the poster has done something wrong, not because I agree with what the poster's "opponent" (in my case, usually their employer) said or did, not because I've decided to be mean to them. If the law doesn't support the poster's position, I'm not going to do them any favors by encouraging them to sue. I may agree that what happened to the poster was unfair. I may disagree with the way the law is written. But I'm not going to tell them they have a case when they don't.

i belive it is medical negligence

hey there!
you know what, i would definitely consider that medical negligence because one: there was a delay in detecting your illness.
two: if i remember correctly he never really did much for you;where were your options??? he didnt give you any.
three: he diagnosed you with something that might not even "exist" so he sorta contradicted himself there.
four: you got a second opinion that proves you do have an illness, which you were never treated for.
The first doctor failed in giving you options for a treatment, something we all have the right to. I would reccomend you talk to an attorney, and get some feedback from them, they will tell you if you do or dont, but my bet is you do.
good luck with that!
