I have no idea whether you have a case. The point is, that isn't what you should be worrying about right now.

A complaint to the doctor's licensing board will affect him far more and far sooner then any lawsuit. But I don't even think you should be undertaking THAT much without guidance from a mental health professional.

Someone in a submissive position sometimes feels powerless and afraid to do anything. Sometimes a victim won't speak up because she (or he) feels she did something to cause it, like maybe she accidentally gave a flirting signal or something, and so is to blame. This isn't her fault, so don't even hint at it being her fault. Shame on anyone for doing that.

You need to go to the police as well as get to a therapist ASAP.
