What is the name of your state? Connecticut (case is in California)

I'm currently involved in a federal case involving IP theft regarding software that I wrote. We are about a year and a half into this and I'm having a hard time affording my legal fees. My lawyers have recently put more effort into trying to dismiss me than defend me.

So I told them "Lets settle" with the other guys, rather than spend anymore money. However, they want about $7000 to continue or they will go to a judge and try to get rid of me. I'm going to try to come up with the money, but I'd like advice as to what I can do, and what they can do, and what the judge may or may not say. I'm only 21...and I just want to get this out of my face. I've lost faith in this system.

**A: I would also be unhappy if my clients ran out of money. I hate working for free.

Sir,

If you don't have anything constructive to say, I would appriciate if you don't bother replying. I'm here for advice -- not further proof that to a handful of attorneys, money is more important than a client's well being. Not only that, but as I mentioned, I'm working on acquiring the money. My question was regarding my options at this point. Thank you.

You know what your options are, you just want to hear some fuzzy happy story that tells you otherwise.

OPTION 1: Pay your attornies.

OPTION 2: Lose the services of your attornies.
