What is the name of your state? Florida

I am on a joint savings with my Mother. For her to receive Medicaid benefits for nursing home care, will these funds have to be depleted or can I take the funds and put them into my name only?

And just how much of your OWN money have you deposited into this account?

Similar Situation

From Florida
I posted another question regarding my elderly parents.

I am in a similar situation. My parents put my name onto their bank accounts when their health started failing. Their reasoning was so I would have acces to the money ( which is willed to me ) They are afraid that the state will take it.
I have no idea what my rights are at all. They have medial insurance as well as medicare. Both pay their medical bills.
