What is the name of your state?Pennsylvania. I get 2 or 3 junk faxes every day in violation of the telephone consumer protection act (TCPA). I am aware of my right to sue but, since they are sent with no return address and an unlisted toll free phone number, I cannot contact them to file suit. Can any one tell me how to locate them?

If I'm not mistaken you would have to contact the company faxing/phoning you FIRST and ask to be taken off the list before you can make a claim against them if they contact you again. Go to www.fcc.gov for more info

Do a Google search on junk faxes. I was going thru ink cartridge after ink cartridge about 6 months ago. I googled and found some good sites. They list a lot those phone numbers on the junk faxes and tell you who they are. Funny thing is, it's mainly one company operating under the umbrella of a lot of other names. Then I sent a letter to the attorney generals office with this information. They acknowledged receipt via a form letter and said they were trying to stop this company. However, if you don't complain, they don't know the extent of the problem. Good luck, junk faxes are annoying as heII.
