Got it!

Pages and pages of it! Notes of all times, all conversations, all conflicts, well, you get the drift. If it has anything to do with SD or BM, it is written down. LOL Plus, Time Tracker Calendar since August of 2003, overnights noted since 2001, of which we had 60+% of the time. Our attorney loved the pink and blue blocks so much, she is going to use them in court.

I really need to buy stock in a paper mill!

I just wish BM could understand what is best for this little girl, and quit letting her down.

update, it's been a while

Just a quick update; BM now has an attorney. Legal Aid has taken the case and notified our attorney by letter that they will be filing an answer to the petition for change in custody. So, now we wait, again.

In the meantime, BM has in the last month and a half been early for one pick up, brought back early once (her choice), brought back late once (oops!), took to school late once (no explanation), and missed one day altogether (her car broke down). Does this show a picture of stability?

On the bright side, SD had a program at school last night. Our whole side of the family was there, along with BM's Father and step-mother. BM DID NOT SHOW! (and I had offered by buy her tickets!) SD was so excited and happy; she didn't even mention Mom not being there. Maybe she is beginning to accept reality?

UPDATE; Court decision

For those who are interested:

The court decision is finally in! H has full custody of his now 7yo daughter effective Friday. For those who followed our case, it was a long, hard-fought battle; but H prevailed. Fathers CAN get custody! There are a lot of Father's out there who can provide a more stable environment, but give up or can't win simply because they are male. Persistence pays off; and good documentation makes the case. Or that's what it took for H.

Thanks to all those who gave advice and encouragement! It really helped me at times to keep H grounded! We can now rest assured that SD will have a more safe, secure, stable life. Thanks to a juvenile Judge with the courage to do what is right.

Awesome news! Good for your hubby for fighting it out and for you for sticking by him (in the background, of course :D )

And good for you SD, who can now have some stability!
