I purchased a horse that was supposed to be for a beginner to be used on trails. Rode him prior to purchase in an arena. Took two lessons, first 90 minutes on how to saddle and bridle a horse, second one basic commands in which I rode him again.

Got this horse home and discovered that he was very very unstable and dangerous. Contacted the seller and she told my husband that she would come back and pick him up. She didn't. She became difficult to contact. When my husband did reach her she offered half of my $3000 back and told him that I ruined him.

Found his previous owner. He was a starved and abused rescue. He had such horrible psychological problems there that she was going to have him destroyed. The previous owner bought him from her to start with and kept her updated on his status everyday for three years. When she determined that he was not salvagable, the seller bought him back for the kill fee. She had him castrated and sold him as a beginner's trail horse eighteen months later. I was not informed of any of this prior to purchase.

I tried going through the breed association, but they won't do anything to discipline her. Now I am bound for small claims court.

Question: I want to go on all of the breed forums and proclaim this woman sold me a dangerous animal without compunction and would not take it back. I want to send private emails to anyone I can find with my story. I want to produce a document of my horrible experience and sell it on eBay. I want the world to know this woman has no scruples and why. If I only stick to the facts are there any chances of repercussions?

Thank you,
Esther
