What is the name of your state? Arizona - but right now in the Philippines

I am currently in the Philippines, a us citizen, and I have married an Iranian. I would like to file for his K3 visa here ( we were married here). However, as of right now I am unemployed. My 2004 tax return will have 125% above poverty. And once I am in the US, I will have a job 125% above poverty.

Basically can I file his paperwork here in the Philippines so that we can go back to the US together and then file the I-864 support petition? Otherwise, will I need to go back to the US and get a job and wait the 4-6 months for him to follow?

I would appreciate any help in this situation!!

If both of you are legally resident in the PI, you may file I-130 for him at the USCIS office there. Your financial situation will not be a problem from what you write here.
It will NOT be a K3 visa he applies for, but an immigrant Visa (CR-1 if you're married less than 2 years).

Research DCF/Direct Consular Filing. I looked up the info for Philippines before and posted it at visa journey .com
