I believe you SkeeterBug but the OP is desperately holding on to my original post where I thought the $30 was far fetched the OP chooses to ignore my latter posts where I respond to new info on bank charges and also add that the landlord should pay the late fee what ever it is.

So if the OP can open her friggin eyes she can see I am backing her up.

Other than that she can shove it where the sun don't shine.

For your info the last time I stopped payment on a check it cost me $32.00. So the $30.00 charge is not unreasonable for a bank to charge.

Ignore 'Orange'. He/she has no idea what they are talking about. Bank fees are set by the individual banks.... and can be as low as $10... or as high as $40 or more.
