What is the name of your state? VA I am a ncp paying cs. CO says that I pay directly to CP on 1st and 15th of every month. I haven't exactly payed on the 1st and 15th of every month since the order was established, but I have always stayed current, month to month and owe no arreareges. I have payed a few days late here and there is what it amounts to. Can the CP have my cs payments directed to CSEA based on the above? And without my concent? or a court order? I'm not sure if SS has that authority. Thanks

out of curiosity, why would that be a big deal?

I assume your issue is with wage garnishment. You have to pay the money anyway....if it comes directly out of your paycheck you will never have to worry about contempt charges for habitual late payment...

heck, I'd ASK to have it directly pulled if I were paying CS....I don't see how you are able to not break your pen every time you write a check! =)

The CP can likely ask that your pay be garnished whether your pay on time or not. She would have to petition the court to do so, and you would have to be informed and have the right to be present at any hearing.
