Lawn care issue with neighbors

I own a house in Savannah, GA. I keep my lawn cut and neat. However, I do not have the time to kee it in pristine condition however I keep it looking nice. I do have some dollar weed in the yard and they grow along my fence connected to my neighbors yard. Today she complained that she had the grass redone and that now my dollar weeds are spreading into her lawn and asked me to fix it on my side so they would stop spreading to hers. Can she legally do anything about this? Am I at fault?

Do you belong to a home owners association? If so they might be able to force you to address your wandering weed issues.
Your neighbor on the other hand, about all she could do legally is shoot you a dirty look from across the fence, or circulate a petition amongst all your neighbors and friends to have you run out of town on a rail.
I would think a little round up and fifteen minutes should help squelch any pending civil disobedience that may be afoot.

Thank you for the reply! I will look into that then. Just wanted to make sure legally she can't do anything. I get along great with all of my other neighbors. These people are just those weird, annoying neighbors that just seek controversy. They are always starting something up wit someone

When my parents first bought their house, there was nothing that drove my mother crazier than to have somebody walking their dog and let the dog do his business on their new lawn without picking it up.
The first year we grew a fine crop of crabgrass so mom would take a little piece of crabgrass root stick it in her pocket and go for a walk. The people who did not pick up the poop after their dog got a little present. She'd bend down like she was looking at something in the lawn and jam a piece of that crabgrass root in their lawn.
Come springtime they had something new to deal with,
thanks to my mother.
I drive through the old neighborhood from time to time and marvel at how many people who use to let their dogs rome about back in the day...
