What is the name of your state? Florida
On 12/06/02 my ex was caught with 77 gold coins, he was tring to hide from courts. On 12/19/02 court ordered coins sold to pay back support (37,000.). Coins sold and case reviewed 2/24/03 Judge ordered money to be send to CP through state disbursment unit. I am CP, called lawyer holding money today to see if he sent it yet. He said " I'll send it when I feel like it" was very rude and gave me the impression he will not send money anytime soon. Very upset this lawyer has been problem from start, court appointed, and is being paid out of my support. Can anyone offer any advice?

bumping this up so maybe one of the attorneys on this site will answer!

I read it. But didn't respond because it smacks of venting. A response would just incite an argument.

I'd be upset too if this lawyer was holding MY money hostage. Can this lawyer just hold on to it until he feels like giving it up??

think I read about this in the local paper....why not contact the reporter of the story and ask him/her to look into it? lawyers don't like bad press.....
