What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

So if you read my last post you will see that I filed for visitation modification and help with paying for my daughter's braces. For the second time in a row I wasn't notified of court in time, and this second time I actually had an attorney and he wasn't notified at all. Now everything I have worked hard to get over the last 3 years has been demolished and my ex has gotten everything he's wanted and really screwed me. So my lawyer has been notified of all of this and the fact that we need to somehow file again but this happened friday and it's Tuesday and I haven't heard back from him. I feel as though we should contact the courts immediately and do something...I am wondering if at this point I should give up on this lawyer and seek another one who maybe will be more focused on this...nothing has been done and this is my life that's a mess....any thoughts?

Please keep all of this in your original thread.

I'm sorry? What do you mean? I am asking a question today because I am wondering if someone can tell me what to do

Then post your question in your original thread. That way, the VOLUNTEERS here don't have to waste their time hunting down all of the background.
