You say you were charged for 2 MRI's? What you should do right away is call your insurance company - your customer service phone number should be on your insurance card. Ask for the Fraud and Abuse hotline number - every insurance company has one. Report this YESTERDAY!!! Then, they can tell you what other measures you need to take.

this was reported to insurance company but since my ex employer switched insurance companies, they could care less.they only paid their part for one mri anyway.i guess this may be a computer error that no one can get rid of.i will file bankruptcy before i pay for something i did not have

I would advise speaking with the attorney general then. Double charging is fraud, and you shouldn't let them get away with it. If you don't do anything about this, then I'm sorry to say it, but you deserve to lose your money.

I went to court on 4/16 on my motion to quash and the judge signed release for me to take to my bank to get all but $320.75 back.Bank faxed copy to home office.I checked with bank everyday and money still not been returned to my account.I called the home office and was told that a cashiers check had been mailed to the court clerk on 4/9 and a letter had been mailed to me on 4/5.the court clerk said on 4/19 that they had not received the check or it would have been put back in my bank the same day the judge signed the release paper.I also never got a letter from the bank. The bank is still charging me $7.00 a day for every day I have a negative balance even when I have explained the situation to them.I even told them to close my account. They said you can not close account with a negative balance so I told them to find my money and they would get theirs. They also said if I do not pay the fees that it would be sent to collections. In case you are wondering, the bank is USBANK and if I ever get my money back I will never deal with them again.I will be calling the bank and court clerk every day until someone finds the money but I already know that USBANK does not care.

My response:

And why should USBANK care? Your problem with an attorney concerning a judgment against you is none of the bank's business. That's YOUR problem.

The bank has it's agreement with you, that YOU signed. That's all the "care" that the bank needs to care about - - it's contract with YOU. All the bank needs to know is that there is a negative account balance with checks being cashed against that account.

Listen sweetheart, I've got news for you. It's not just USBANK that thinks this way. It's ALL banks. You've got no place to run, and no place to hide.

I have not wrote any checks since the court put a judgement on my account,I did not have any checks pending either. If the bank issues a cashiers check and it is never received then they should try to find it.They are the ones that promise the "five star service guarantee." I think either the bank islying or the court clerk is lying.I know I am not lying.I went to court and I proved my case and I have a right to get my money back from whoever has it.I have been a customer with this bank for 14 years and this is not the only time I have had a problem with them. They enforced a court order on my account so now they should enforce this one too or be in contempt. You better believe the court clerk will be getting a call from me in the morning to see if cashiers check has come in.Also the collection agency and hospital got exactly what I owed after my insurance paid.I only owed $175.00 which is a long way from the $1200.00 they said I owed.
