What is the name of your state? ny

my daughter is leasing a house that she heard is going to be foreclosed on. If she is locked in to a lease that still has about 8 months left on it is she protected on that lease if the house is foreclosed on? The mortgage is held by a private individual not a bank. Thanks for any info.....

Nope. As a process of the foreclosure order, the court can order the termination of any existing leases.
