After the birth of our 2 yr old son, my wife developed Post-Partum Depression with psychosis. One of the most serious symptoms of this was thinking of killing me and our son (very common in PPD cases apparently). During this time she had an affair with a coworker. We just found out she is pregnant again. She has had to stop taking most of the medications that control her symptoms. She has also begun seeing this coworker again. He is aware of her mental problems. Is there any way I can stop him or hold him accountable for the damage he is doing? What evidence of his involvement would be necessary? The damage this is causing our marriage may cause her to relapse into full blown psychosis and she is unable to take the meds to control it...by the way we live in Nebraska. There is no doubt that the child she is pregnant with is mine...thanks..MZ

You won't likely receive an answer until you post which state you live in.

Alienation of affection

I know someone sued and won based on alienation of affection. You should check case law on this to see if it held up.

However, a larger problem is the pregnancy of your wife. Is this child yours? Do you know? Some states hold that a child born into a marriage is a child of the marriage. Child support for the next 18-22 years? Dispute paternity prior to the baby being born and have a DNA test.

Also, as the above stated, give people your state so they can help you.
