What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? TX

I have been married for over 3 years. My husband has everything in his name. Land, home, credit cards, etc. During all this time I have been a dutiful wife and have never used his credit cards. This week end, I caught him with another woman.

The way to get to him the most is through his wallet. Is it legal for me to charge things on his credit cards that do not have my name listed? I would really appreciate an answer from an attorney, before, I do something to get myself in legal trouble.-----------------Thanks-------------Gladyce-------

You can do whatever you want. That's a part of being a free citizen of this country. If you are legally married, there isn't anything that he can do as debt as well as property are shared equally in the State of Texas. But if your husband wants to cause trouble all he has to do is state to the credit company or companies is that when you made the purchases you two were seperated, and he never gave permission for you to use his accounts. He will be clear and free of any financial responsibility. Then the credit companies will come after you for payment.

The results of your choices are up to you and what you want to live with. Sorry for your pain.
