What is the name of your state? Delaware.
I went on vacation, leaving vehicle (insured) with 17 year old daughter (insured). She had clear instructions not to let anyone else drive vehicle. She let a 17 year-old friend drive car without her with him. He was involved in property damage hit and run. Who is liable for property damage?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

You and the driver are responsible, of course.

Then, you can dump your daughter in the Delaware River. That'll teach her to disobey her parents!

So if he used it without permission he stole it, right?

My response:

Oh please, SpawnX. Would you cut it out.

Read the original post where our writer said, "She let a 17 year-old friend drive car . . ."
