What is the name of your state? NJ I signed a complaint against my husbands ex for harrassment in turn she signed two against me. Well i've had my day in court. She couldn't keep her story straight and the judge saw right through her and her boyfriends lies. she tried to lead her boyfiends testimony while he was on the stand. The judge told her that her testimony was totally uncreditable as well as her witnesses and that she was lying through her teeth.in other words she was found guilty of harrassment and i now have a no contact order against her. My ? is this....the charges that she brought on me i.e. running her off the road , calling her and threatening her, she told the family court that my husband did the same thing onthe same dates to get a restraining order against him and have his visitation suspended. While i was in court she brought this up while on the stand(what she claims my husband did) and in the judges final statement he said that she lied about my husband running her off the road. Will this help him get a restraining order dropped in family court, because a judge found her to be nothing but a liar?

Possibly. It would help if there's a transcript of the proceedings that you could enter into evidence.

Sounds like my cousins judge in NJ during a RO hearing. He pretty much told his ex she was a liar, get off his stand & he didn't want to see her back again! HA!
Man, you gotta love it when they can't keep their stories straight!!

this was in ocean county. It was great to see her get caught red handed in her lies. The judge told her to hold the water works because it wasn't working on him. he also told her that she was wasting the courts time by filling false complaints. the neighborhood now knows she is nothing but a no good liar. I also had a GREAT lawyer. Hey- can i sue her in civil court for filling false complaints?The court clerks told me they had to hire a private transcriber to get the transcripts and i have to leave a $300 deposit, but if i got those would they help my husband up at the county family court? The judge basically told her that he didn't beleive a word she said, even with all the tears, and that none of her story was even remotely near the truth.

get a copy of the transcript. it is worth the money.

it can also be used against her in future hearings since she testified under oath and the judge found her credbility to be lacking.

thank you stephenk. I thought those transcripts would be worth something. I think she really hung herself with the false testimony. Especially since she lied more than once,during trial, under oath. Thanks again!!!!!
