Listen, you knew you have a child. Some women are malicious. Some men make them that-a way. Did you cheat? Did you hit her? Were you ignorant to her or the child? You cant take back pain you have caused. It comes back at ya.
Maybe men do have a disadvantage, and sorry if the one and only thing that women have that men cant take is our ability to birth. We have that one advantage. Children belong with their mothers, for the most part. I am sick of mothers being demonized.
The only excuse for you to not pay child support, is that you are dead. The only reason for you to NOT be there, is that you are dead. You fathers have rights, but give up on them. Children are horrendously expensive. The days of having 2-3-4 kids is over. Now, all most ppl can afford is 1-2 at most. It is time to slow it way down, there are enough children suffering.
Why doesnt anyone ever adopt? Then no one parent has more right than the other. Please, someone adopt some older, or kids over 1. They need parents,
and could use a home. Any home.

ohhhhhhhhhhh boy! I new this thread would be too good for redhead to pass up! C'mon Red, you can't tell me someone who is supposedly soooooo concerned with the weee lil' children can possibly buy into a blanket statement like " children need to be with thier mommies! Period!" do you really think women can't be just as neglectful, hateful and malicious. If you were really so concerned about children's welfare, you would amend that to "children should be with the parent most capable of supporting them, be it the mother or father". I'm sorry that I can't 'confess my sins" here as you invited everyone to do last week, but if you're brave enough to debate the issue, feel free to email me and I'll answer any question you have! audster_61944@yahoo.com Email me and I'll give you all the torrid details. I really have alot of sympathy for you.....I get the feeling tha tsomeone hurt you very badly...

Debtboy, I also have some sympathy for you....I freaked ot for a couple of weeks after the ex told me I was going to be a father.....Then I pulled my head out of my a** and begged for her forgiviness! No, I don't think the way child support is assessed on father's is fair, but good god man.....you hid for 7 years!!!! And you expected people not to react badly to this! However.....the consumer protection act will only let them take 60% of your weekly take home.....50% if you have other dependants to support....if you agree to let the soon to be stepfather adopt, then it will be an arrearage. it won't take as long to pay off as they will in all likelihood garnish your entire tax refund until it is current. I strongly feel you need a lawyer in this situation. If you choose not to TPR, file for vistitation but only expect supervised only until the child gets to know you....and expect to take some lumps from the judge. Good luck, i wish you well!

Start acting like your a crazy person, really act it up, and then get on SSI, file modification, go to court, in your wheelchair, talk to yourself while drooling, and basicaly act the lonatic. Get the amount (current) lowered, and then don't pay a thing, after a while they will get tired of picking on a mentaly disturbed person and leave you alone. And then it time for you to start looking into, hiding asetts, blind trusts, and building a new identity in preparation for your new life without ssi or cs

Amazing!

It's authentically amazing to me that, after 5 years in an abusive relationship with a child of abuse (my ex's dad used to put her in the hospital a couple of times a year and she came to our relationship not just scarred, but fightin' mad at everyone EXCEPT her sick, sick father), and 6 years, 8 months in institutionalized care (THAT'S what I meant by having had my head under the covers), that I'd suddenly begin to care about the moral judgements of a group of anonymous Jerry Springer audience wannabees. To the one or two of you who decided to just offer a professional, legal answer to the problem of how I go about rectifying the situation--thank you. To the rest of you--I can still get a good price on the aforementioned tampons. Peace.

Then why is your worthless excuse for a man still here?

What does tampons have to do with anything? Why do some men always bring that up, are you jealous you can't use them or what? You'd never survive bleeding for several days every month :)

Until you can carry and give birth to all these kids, be grateful for what rights you have and stop thinking of yourself as god all mighty. Women do most of the work from day one, so appreciate if she even throws you a bone.

Actually, I've used and continue to use Pads, the heavy duty variety.

WHOA!!!!! before you go off on me girls (Especially you stealth :D) They were government issue in the Military when I was in training as a lineman. They were placed in your combat boots on the instep when you strapped on the spikes used to climb telephone poles so that your instep would not chaff or blister.

I continue to use them in this manner when climbing trees using those same strapped spikes.

So, another sexist remark that's worthless ;)

Well Christ on Aluminum Crutches! How the frikkin hell are we supposed to know what you "meant"? The way you made it sound, you basically ignored the situation, hoping it would go away. Being hospitalized is a bit of a different situation, and may (MAY, not a definite) provide you with an opportunity to make arrangements (tho your problem now is going to be the length of time you've let it go).

But ya know - we're not mindreaders. When you ask a question but only provide half-assed information, don't go ballistic when we give a response based on what you DID provide.

This is actually an interesting piece of trivia that I'll tuck away in the back of my brain for a time when it may come in useful. :)

I'll let you get away with it, because you at least tried it :D
It's Debtassboy that should take a lesson or two from women before he starts waiving his "pinky" around and living under the massive illusion he's the "big" man!!!

My hubby actually uses them to shine his boots...they hold the polish in and let him get a nice high gloss. He wouldn't touch a tampon, however, for all the money in the world LMAO!!
