What is the name of your state? CO

do you need something you make to really be copyrighted? I herd if you made it it really is already copyrighted to you but the only prob is you don't have any proof?

any suggestions, i just wanna make sure my company banner is safe and no one will steel it without me being able to do something, or they claiming i stole it from them.

It is "really" copyrighted the minute you finish creating it, however to further protect your work, and as a necessity prior to bringing any infringement suit, you can register your copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office for a relatively small fee. This helps to prove the date of creation.

There is always the risk that someone will infringe on a copyright and then claim it as their own - although the risk probably isn't as great as you may fear. And, even if you register your copyright, there are no guarantees that someone will not try to pilfer your work anyway. You just have the satisfaction of knowing that the law is on your side when you take the infringer to court. :)

You can always put the copyright "bug" and your name and date on the banner somewhere, to give everyone fair notice that your work is, indeed, copyrighted. This is not a requirement or usually even necessary - but there are some people out there who believe that, if it is on the Internet, it is free for anyone to use. Copyrights, in other words, are not understood by everyone.

Corporate Logo Infrigement

Hi...
Everything happens less than 24hrs.
I have a Nevada Corporation a Copyright on my Logo and some guys think 'they know too much that law doesn't not apply to them...'

Can someone advise me and if I got a case proceed with a Legal action?

Here's the whole story:
