What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? KS

I currently have a 10% disability from the military, I received a work related injury to the same area and WC has been providing benefits for over a year. Last week I had an appointment with the WC Doc and was told that it was all due to the pre-exiting condition. Now I am in greater pain then before and WC has cut benefits, due to the comments that were made from the doc that he clearly thought it was work related last year. So I have no job and no benefits and can not be hired even if I was able to withstand the pain due to no letter of release. Calls from me to my lawyer go unanswered because they do not return his. The WC Doc is still scheduling appointments but WC has not even contacted my lawyer to notify him the case status. Even if the WC was to reinstate my benefits I would not have the confidence to go ahead with the current Doc to do a potential surgery, any help on these matters would be beneficial?

If w/c is saying this is an old injury does the military not pay you benefits for it?You can call your social security office there and ask them if you are able to get SSI since they have cut your income and medical and you are not able to work at this time.It might be a good idea also to call the labor baord in your area and ask them about the w/c and let them know what has gone on and they maybe able to help you.Good luck
