What is the name of your state? Indiana. I injured my shoulder at my place of employment. They sent me to the doctor, He said i had a strained muscle. so a week later when i went back to see him, he released me back to full duty.I felt fine for about two to three weeks. Then i was terminated for calling in sick for two days, because i had the flu. About two days ago, My Shoulder started hurting again, so i notified my previous employer, to let them know that my shoulder was hurting again. And they said, that since i was no longer their employee, there was nothing that they could do. That if i went to see the doctor now, i had to pay for all the medical att. i would get. Is this True? And if this is not true, What can i do?

You may want to call the labor board in your area they maybe able to help you with this.It is a great place to start when you have w/c issues and they will let you know your state laws regarding them.If they can not help call a w/c attorney and ask them what you should do-Good luck
