What is the name of your state? Kansas

My fiancee and I are wanting to marry this summer. However, he has many outstanding bills, none of which my name are on because they were accrued long before we got together. Can they freeze my bank accounts and take my money?

As long as you 2 don't comingle assets, you should be fine-in theory.
As a practial matter, a trustee may ask for the non filing spouses financial information and determine that the one filing for bk may have someone that can afford to pay for the hh expenses, etc and put his bk in jeopardy.
It's cleaner to get the bk discharged before marriage.
