What is the name of your state?NY
Hi , me and my wife(maybe) got married in Mexico in august . We needed passports in order to get married there . We were kinda rushed and had to pay a service charge to get our passports quick , within 2 weeks , otherwise it would have taken months and we already bought our wedding/vacation.
In the midst of all the excitement we dint realize the second letter of my 11 letter last name was wrong . It read "A" instead of "E" . Everything else was correct . It states our parents names on the marriage licence , and they have my last name spelled correctly for my parents . Everything , except names and adresses , is in spanish .
While in Mexico we pointed this out to them but they said they had to use what was in our passports .
Are we married?
She hasn't changed anything over to her new last name yet , but we want to soon .
Maybe a little white out and a letter change??
thx for any advise.
