What is the name of your state? Florida
My son is 19 and my daughter 17 1/2 (18 in Jan 2003). My ex-husbands owes me around $1800 in medical expenses. He finally caught up his back child support, but has refused to pay the medical. I have sent him the copies of all expenses and asked continually for reimbursement. I have send him a letter every 6 months showing all expenses and his half of the coat. Is this a matter to take back to court (family law)before my youngest turns 18 or to small claims court? How is the best way to collect this money without spending a fortune in legal fees and court costs?

If the medical expenses are referenced in the divorce papers, child support order, etc. it is handled by family court, you would file a motion for contempt for failure to pay.

My response:

If you have a Marital Settlement Agreement that was incorporated into the Final Decree and Judgment of Dissolution, then yes, you can file a Small Claims court action. You see, your MSA is a "contract", so you'll be able to sue him for Breach of Contract.

You are the consummate breast man. Here's one from Leno:

Animal rights group PETA is going after Butterball because they say that turkeys have now been bred to have such big breasts that they often die of heart attacks. Do you think it could be that they’re dieing of heart attacks because it’s two weeks until Thanksgiving?!
