MIP Questions

What is the name of your state? I live in Texas and I got an MIP recently.

I am trying to take care of this without my parents finding out. So if I just pay the fine will my parents be contacted or will it just end there? I mean I'm sure it goes on my record, but will it affect auto insurance or anything else?

If you're a minor, which one can safely assume from your post, how were you released from the police station without a guardian?

Good news! I have figured out my own stupid question...MIP....you're over 18, not 21...

to which I say, you're parents aren't stupid. Pay your fines and handle yourself, but your parents WILL find out eventually.
