I sure will give them the site. I didnt think there was any harm in posting the question here and getting advice. I wasn't trying to insert myself in the situations just going a place where people have more knowledge than me. Didn't know I would be berated for helping.

Not so much berated as simply getting an explanation of why third party advice is generally not a good idea. There may well be facts that affect the case that you've not been informed of. So, when you give advice, it is bad or incomplete due to your friend not filling you in on all the details (maybe not even knowing what details are needed).
